Hello!
This is my ninth year as the music teacher at the Gengras Center and I am thrilled to be part of such a great community. I have been teaching and sharing my love of music for the past fourteen years and am so lucky to go to work every day to do what I love!
I grew up in West Hartford and went off to Ohio to get my degree in music education from Miami University. After graduating, I taught music in Ohio for two years and New Jersey for three. I have two cats (Pike and Chai), a dog (Nala), a husband (Mark) , and two boys (Camden - 6 & Trey - 4).
I have designed this website to show you what we are doing in music class and so that you can continue your learning at home! I strongly believe that all students can develop an appreciation for music and it is my goal to help facilitate and achieve that.
I am so lucky to have such a fun job and am excited to continue to share the gift of music with you!
