Happy Birthday, Dr. Seuss!

We celebrated Dr. Seuss' birthday in music class by listening to songs, playing instruments and doing other hands on activities based on books written by Dr. Seuss.

Green Eggs and Ham

Hand, Hand, Fingers, Thumb

We tossed bean bags along with a song about green eggs and ham.  As the music got faster and faster, we did our best to not drop our "eggs!"

We played drums and followed the rhythms and directions of the book Hand, Hand, Fingers, Thumb.

Ten Apples Up On Top!

​​We placed bean bags on our heads to represent apples
​and saw how many we could balance "up on top."
